Bart’s Midnight Adventure.
Bart crept quietly down the hallway to the bathroom, it was midnight and because he had an extra can of soda he needed to pee. Marge had told him it would happen so he needed to be very quiet or she would growl at him. As he passed Lisa’s room he heard her talking but could not hear what she was saying, it was like a low whisper. He hurried on to the bathroom wondering who she was talking to. Had she taken the phone up to her bedroom to make secret calls in the night? He hurriedly but quietly finished his pee and crept back to Lisa’s door. He could still hear here whispers.
Very carefully he opened her door the whispering went on but he still could not hear what she was saying. He pushed the door wider. By now his eyes were accustomed to the darkness and with a little moonlight he could see her on the bed. The blankets had been pushed to one side, her legs were open and her nightie was pulled up. She was still asleep! She was talking in her sleep! Bart suddenly realised that this could produce some golden treasure to use against her if he could hear what she was saying. Continue reading →
